All of our staff & counselors have servant hearts and come equipped to serve the best interests of the campers. Camp Gilead Staff are selected through a recruitment process that includes pre-camp training, references, pastoral reference and a background check. Our Registered Nurses are state certified and our Lifeguards have their life-saving and waterfront certifications. We have a strict supervision policy and follow state of New York requirements of camper-to-staff ratios.

In order to serve on staff a person must be born-again, oriented toward a charismatic ministry, have a heart for young people, coupled with the maturity to successfully lead and supervise campers. We believe that the quality of our program is only as good as our staff.
